The Conservative PAC For Conservative Candidates

WashTimes: Bossie: Corruption in the Fourth Estate: Will media bias hurt the Democrats in 2022?

It’s easy to think that the liberal media’s illegitimate coverage of the Biden Administration will turn out to be a multi-billion dollar in-kind contribution to the President and Democrat Party. To this, I say not so fast.

During the 2020 presidential campaign, conservatives assumed that the leftward-biased media would be openly hostile toward President Donald J. Trump and carry their candidate Joe Biden to the finish line. And Mr. Biden certainly needed all the help he could get.

With unprecedented glowing coverage during the general election and no follow-up questions from his basement, Mr. Biden could still only manage to win by about 42,000 votes in three states. But now, with Mr. Biden in the White House, the media’s performance as a Democrat Super PAC has only sped up in the past six months.

With each passing day, scandals associated with Democrats are ignored while similar — and in many cases, much less spectacular — controversies involving Republicans are gleefully reported on and re-hashed ad nauseam. Imagine if Hunter Biden’s laptop belonged to a Trump family member or a Republican senator affiliated with the same diversity-deficient clubs as Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse. In the laptop case, a special counsel would have been appointed long ago, and a conservative senator in Mr. Whitehouse’s shoes would be facing resignation or at very least thorough public humiliation.
