News came today that Quincy native Mike Flynn, who is running to fill the seat vacated by Rep. Aaron Schock, has been endorsed by the national conservative group Citizens United’s PAC.
Citizens United Political Victory Fund announced the endorsement to the Journal Star, also noting that they’re donating $5,000 to Flynn’s race against state Sen. Darin LaHood and Benson resident Donald Reints.
“Mike Flynn is a conservative change agent who will promote pro-growth economic policies that will create jobs in Illinois,” organization president David Bossie said in a news release “Out of control Washington spending by career politicians is pushing America to the brink of financial meltdown. Mike Flynn will confront the establishment. Darin LaHood will become part of the problem, not part of the solution.”
