Citizens United Political Victory Fund (CUPVF), the affiliated PAC of Citizens United, announced its endorsement of Jackie Walorski in Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District today. CUPVF contributed $5,000 for Walorski’s primary effort, and $5,000 for the general election. In 2010 CUPVF was a strong supporter of Jackie Walorski as well.
“Jackie Walorski is a seasoned campaigner who will bring her conservative Midwestern values to Washington,” said David N. Bossie, President of Citizens United. “Gas prices have soared in the Hoosier state, and Jackie Walorski has called on the Obama Administration to lift EPA restrictions that prohibit drilling in the United States. Lower gas prices will ease the burden on small businesses and create jobs in Indiana. The 2nd Congressional District of Indiana is a prime pickup opportunity for Republicans next year; Jackie Walorski was within 2,500 votes of being a Congresswoman in 2010. I have full faith that she will win this important seat in 2012.”
