CUPVF Endorses Brian Mast in Florida's 18th Congressional District Primary Election

Citizens United Political Victory Fund (CUPVF), the affiliated PAC of Citizens United, issued the following statement endorsing Brian Mast in Florida’s 18th congressional district primary election. CUPVF has also contributed $5,000 to Mast’s primary effort.

“Brian Mast’s top priority in Congress will be working to keep America safe and I applaud him for that. ISIS is on the march right here at home and around the world and we need a decisive policy change without delay,” said David N. Bossie, president of Citizens United.

“Brian is a decorated combat veteran and CUPVF is honored to endorse such a qualified candidate for U.S. House. 2016 is a national security election and Brian Mast’s national security credentials are second to none,” Bossie added.

“My belief is that in order to truly defeat Islamic terrorism, the United States must acknowledge, confront, and destroy Islamic terrorism. As a member of Congress next year, Brian Mast will have an immediate impact in this all-important debate. I urge all voters in Florida’s 18th congressional district to vote for Brian Mast in the primary election,” Bossie concluded.
